Dear everyone:
We would like to thank all those who listened to us and had your kids enjoy our music. 2012 was a very short year for us -- we didn't play our first show of the year until July, and now we are coming close to our last show of the year in November.
Nonetheless, it was a very fruitful 2012 for us. We would especially like to thank Beth Byrne for welcoming us to Sunday Streets for the second year in a row -- it is such a wonderful event and we are so grateful to be a part of it. We had our first on-air time with APEX EXPRESS, we were part of an all-star cast at a book launch at the SF Main Library, enjoyed two Sunday Street dates, and had the privilege of joining a close-knit community at 28th Ave for their annual block party! We had a very solid string of shows this year, and we are getting a little more comfortable with this type of act. As some of you know, we come from bands that played some serious shows at venues you may have heard of, but now we wear silly hats and play daytime shows at family-friendly events.
We have plans to make another recording very soon. Our first CD demo that we started to distribute at our shows had a whopping 100 copies made, and we are almost out of them. So it really is the time to replenish! If you own one of the 100, you are lucky to have rarity in your hands!! =P
On that note, once something new is ready, we definitely will have them at future shows! It may very well be in 2013, so we are absolutely looking forward to what the next year has in store for us.
This is not a goodbye note for the year! We are preparing to slow down a bit to enjoy our holidays and family time, but if an opportunity arises where we can whip out the silly hats to rock with, we will definitely put it up on our event calendar. By the way, we do have a show coming up in a couple of weeks :)
